Description

• Deliver personalized therapy sessions focusing on fluency, speech sound production, language skills, and swallowing issues.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and family members to formulate optimal care strategies.
• Provide vital education to patients and their families, ensuring progress continues beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient speech evaluations and interventions to safeguard consistent patient care and experience.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Must hold a state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within your first month of employment.
