Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend rotation every other week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to provide high-quality respiratory care in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions for patients of all ages. This position requires close collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications to patients.
• Provide care in NICU, ICU, and ED settings when necessary.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis.
• Assist with intubation and other advanced respiratory interventions.
• Use and maintain servo ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment.
• Deliver high-quality and compassionate care to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid RRT certification.
• 2+ years of hospital experience, with NICU, ICU, and ED experience preferred.
• Ability to draw ABGs and perform respiratory assessments.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Servo I ventilators and I-Stat preferred.

Dress Code:

• Black scrubs required (purchase required).
• No artificial nails or extreme hairstyles; hair must be neat and clean.
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
