DayTimeTue02:30 PM - 09:00 PMFri02:30 PM - 09:00 PMSun12:30 PM - 07:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and/or support orderly operations within a government location.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or public contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- A valid Virginia DCJS license is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
