Pulmonary/Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Full-Time Day PositionLocation: Centinela Hospital Medical Center (CHMC)Assignment Dates: August 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099) with Potential for Permanent PlacementAbout the OpportunityPulmonary Consultants & Wellness Center is seeking an experienced ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC to join our pulmonary/critical care team for a full-time daytime position at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. This role is available to cover a maternity leave and offers the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient pulmonary and critical care servicesPerform patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up careDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physiciansCoordinate care with multidisciplinary teamsDocument patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMRParticipate in daily rounds and care planning

Qualifications

Current ACNP-BC or AGANCP-BC certification 

Active DEA license

Minimum 1 year inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospital setting preferred)

license in CaliforniaDEA license and furnishing number (if applicable)Hospital-based pulmonary, critical care, internal medicine, or acute care experience preferredStrong clinical judgment and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentJob Title: Pulmonary/Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Full-Time Day Position

Pay Transparency

Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation. Compensation range for this role is $950 per shift. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
