Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting needs to management
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests
Experience
- Strong background in restaurant or culinary settings with fine dining experience
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food service operations
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry
- Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on quality presentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in catering is a plus, along with strong teamwork skills
