Community Service Officer

The City of Oxnard's Police Department is seeking a Community Services Officer with strong technical and customer service skills to be part of the team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand, read, and properly interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to the assignment. Under general supervision, a Community Service Officer performs a variety of non-sworn assignments in support of the City's law enforcement activities, including vehicle maintenance/inventory, false business alarm tracking, gang or serious habitual offender tracking, handling low-priority calls for police service, and assisting sworn personnel in completing a variety of patrol and investigative duties. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
