CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL AND PART TIME)

Job Summary Colgate University – 13 Oak Drive, Hamilton, NY 13346. Position: Catering Attendant (Full‑time & Part‑time). Pay: $17.75 per hour. Schedule: AM/PM shifts available; details discussed during interview. Possible kitchen truck driving duties. Responsibilities Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables, buffet setups, and decorations. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean event location after completion. Return food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment. Provide friendly, courteous service to guests at all times. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the menu and product offerings. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications Prior catering experience preferred. Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
