Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Previous work experience in an office setting

Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities


1. Updates account ledgers, collects data for financial reports and prepares appropriate reports which may include some or all of the following depending on area of assignment: billing statements, invoices, purchase orders, deposit records, cash reports, bid specification/quote solicitations, state sales tax reports, accounts receivable/payable, balance banks

2. Collects and processes tuition fees and associated paperwork and may perform follow-up collection/billing depending on assignment.

3. Trains hourly or student employees in accounting procedures and other clerical tasks.

4. Provides information associated with their area to students, staff and the public.

5. Performs other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
