Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals dedicated to providing top-tier care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you'll conduct diagnostic examinations, work alongside a collaborative group of clinicians, and help deliver peace of mind to patients with timely and precise imaging outcomes.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately, ensuring patient records are updated in our electronic medical record system
• Stay informed on the latest advances in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
