About the Position The Premium Products Quality Manager position is responsible for maintaining the EQS quality system and external quality certifications for premium products that involve vacuum induction melted and remelting processes. Responsible for internal/external audits and corrective actions. Responsible for reviewing and signing certified test reports. Assist other departments with quality system development. Manage the personnel in Quality Assurance involved with premium products. Management Representative with responsibility and authority for oversight of: Ensuring the Premium Products Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to all applicable requirements Ensuring that processes deliver intended results Reporting on the performance of the Premium Products QMS to top management Ensuring the promotion of customer focus Ensuring the integrity of the Premium Products QMS Travel (local, national and international) as required. Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules. Must have ability and desire to work with others. Meet attendance requirements. Perform other duties as deemed necessary. What You’ll Need Bachelor of Science in a technical field Minimum five (5) years QA/QC experience, preferably in the metals manufacturing industry dealing with remelted (VAR/ESR) products. Active and valid driver’s license or ability to travel and comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Program. Strong organizational skills Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization Good verbal and written communication skills Willingness and ability to travel when necessary Strong work ethic Willingness to learn Commitment to safety Education Bachelors or better in Quality Management or related field.
