Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous experience in ICU required - Ability to float to other areas as needed - Experience in the management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU. The nurse will be expected to manage a diverse range of critical conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, and renal failure. The role involves the use of telemetry monitors, defibrillators, and ventilation equipment. Nurses will be required to interpret dysrhythmias and manage the care of ventilated patients. Isolation precautions and advanced IV management skills are necessary for this position. Successful candidates will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive patient care. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities as needed. Nurses must be flexible in terms of scheduling and available to work weekends and holidays. All prior employees must have been separated for a minimum period before eligibility for this position.
