About This Role

We are looking for experienced educators who have the passion to work with young children in a team-playing environment. Those who have knowledge of Early Achievers and want to make a difference in the community that the center supports. Our mission is to create a safe, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and develop lifelong learning. We're on the hunt for talented individuals who can bring kindness and dedication to our team as Lead Teachers or floaters. • Supervise and care for a group of children in a classroom setting, providing a safe and engaging environment for their development
• Collaborate with the supervisor and teaching staff to develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that fosters creativity and learning
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure seamless support for our children
• Be flexible and supportive in responding to the needs of our center

Requirements (must have or obtain):

• Successful completion of the 30-hour STARS Child Care Basics Training
• Current certification in Basic First Aid and Infant/Child CPR
• MAT (Medication Administration Training) certification
• HIV/Bloodborne Pathogens Training
• Food Handler’s Permit
• TB test clearance
• Successful completion of a full background check.

Other essential skills:

• The ability to work effectively with diverse families, including those with unique backgrounds, cultural needs, and individual circumstances.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn the communication app the center encourages.

Desirable qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a child care teacher/caregiver, or an equivalent background OR
• AA/BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field OR
• Progress toward the state-mandated requirements
