Overview
Registered Nurse – OB/GYN, Travel assignment in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,164–$2,265 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36.0 per week. Shift: Night shift, 3x12s (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). This is a travel temporary assignment in a hospital-based obstetric/gynecology setting.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the physician to develop and implement an individualized plan of care to return OB/GYN patients to optimal health.
- Provide bedside nursing care and execute physician orders in accordance with standards of care.
- Delegate to and supervise support staff including Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, OB Care Associates, Surgical Service Assistants, Nursing Clerks, and Psychiatric Technicians as appropriate.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan, adjust interventions, and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Maintain OB/GYN specialty competencies, apply current guidelines (including AWHONN standards), and respond to obstetric emergencies as needed.
- Communicate clearly with the care team during handoffs and care transitions; provide patient education and discharge planning as indicated.

Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- 2+ years OB experience (required)
- AWHONN certification within the last 24 months (required)
- Certifications: AWHONN, NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekends/holidays on-call as needed
- Education: Graduation from an accredited RN program
