Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity and frequency of clients’ mood disorder symptoms. \n
- Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals, preferences, and challenges. \n
- Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster personal growth and healing. \n
- Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, offering insights into treatment options and promoting effective self-care strategies. \n
- Regularly monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans to reflect evolving goals and issues. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients. \n
- Keep abreast of current research in mood disorders to continually refine and enhance therapeutic strategies. \n
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice. \n
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional training opportunities to enhance treatment quality. \n
- Advocate for clients, working to reduce mental health stigma and ensure their rights and needs are met. \n
In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping clients from diverse backgrounds, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, fostering hope and resilience as they navigate their circumstances toward recovery.

- A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients. \n
- Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward the struggles faced by clients. \n
- Strong organizational skills to manage client caseloads effectively and meet administrative responsibilities. \n

- Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy. \n
- Background in using evidence-based practices for mood disorders or addiction issues. \n
- Previous experience in a community health setting or with similar client populations is highly desirable. \n

- An annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. \n
