The nurse will be required to work three 12-hour night shifts each week. Every other weekend and one major holiday will be required. The nurse must have at least two years of experience, including telemetry experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. Experience with this charting system, Epic, is required. Candidates must have the ability to manage a patient ratio of 4-5. Additionally, flu vaccines are required, with no exemptions accepted. All candidates must successfully pass an EKG/Telemetry exam onsite. Travelers are expected to comply with attendance policies, allowing up to three absences within a 13-week contract. Modules will be completed either during orientation or within the first week of employment. The nursing role will aid in the care of adults and geriatric patients with a daily census of 32. All candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support teams.
