About the Position The IDA Center for Communications Research, La Jolla, invites applications to be a member of our research staff. We prefer applicants who already hold the required security clearance. The position will start in the first half of 2027. Location and Work Environment Located in San Diego, California, we provide a collaborative research environment without teaching duties, free of administrative burdens, and with a greater emphasis on collaborative research. The scientific scope is broad and varied; we prove theorems, implement high-performance algorithms, and conduct practical machine learning and data analysis. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $111,515 – $283,015. Salary will be commensurate with experience and unique qualifications. Qualifications US citizenship is required. Employment is contingent upon obtaining an appropriate security clearance (sponsored if applicable).
