Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) - Night Shift

Schedule / Shift

12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled with every-other-weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently to provide critical care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients, including triage and treatment.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse aides, and support staff to deliver optimal patient care.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using the EPIC system.
• Participate in continuous education and training, including certifications when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and unexpired driver's license.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC preferred (TNCC can be taken as a traveler at own expense).
• Prior experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
