Food Service Assistant

As a Food Service Assistant your typical day may include delivering room service meals to patients, washing and sanitizing dishes, serving co-workers and visitors in the cafeteria, brewing Caribou coffee, or delivering meals to catered meetings on site. You will learn about diet orders and make sure patients' meals match their dietary requirements. You will contribute to a food-safe environment by helping with proper food storage, monitoring food temperatures, restocking supplies, and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen.We provide you with several days of on-the-job training, ServSafe food sanitation and food allergens courses, and plenty of ongoing support as you learn the details of your new job. ServSafe certification or MN Department of Health Food Manager’s certificate preferred or willingness to successfully complete ServSafe certification course. Six (6) months related experience preferred. Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
