Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor high-acuity patient care in the ICU environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Assess patient conditions continually, analyze data, and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate unit activities.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatment options, and health management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• At least two years of recent critical care or ICU experience.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
