Job Details: Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) Location: La Plata, MD Setting: School Pay Range: $41.50 - $49.29 Schedule: 08:00:00 to 15:30:00 Contract Length: 2026-2027 School Year Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly Preferred: Experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K through 12) and strong collaboration skills to work with school staff, therapists, and families Requirements: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license. Be willing to obtain state licensure. 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred but not required (new grads welcome) Responsibilities: As a healthcare professional in a school setting, you will: Provide essential support and specialized care to students in an educational environment. Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans specific to each student's needs. Conduct assessments and deliver treatment for students with gross motor, mobility, and related concerns, ensuring safe and effective interventions. Support student progress by applying evidence-based practices tailored to the school environment.
