Produce Sales Floor AssociateThis position maintains produce sales floor, back of house product and supports the Produce Team Leader in breaking down deliveries. Ensures a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient guest service to Guests and Team Members.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsures a fresh and appealing display by rotating, stocking, checking signage and removing out of date productsAssist Team Leader in breaking down deliveriesDeliver outstanding guest serviceFollow through on all guest questions, requests and resolve concerns as neededFollow and comply with all applicable procedures and regulations, including Weights and Measures, FDA, health and sanitation, Department of Labor, ADA, HAACP, OSHA and safe work practices.Sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper mannerReport equipment issues to Store LeadershipKeep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotatedUses suggestive selling techniques to maximize salesPerforms other duties as assigned by Store LeadershipKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesAbility to prioritize tasksAbility to handle stressful situationsValues diversityAbility to perform physical requirements of positionProper handling of knives and cutting equipmentAbility to work well with othersGood communication skillsAbility to inspect product for quality and freshnessAble to work flexible schedule based on needs of store including nights, weekends and holidaysQualifications2+ years or more experience in a produce departmentGuest Service focusedKnowledge of department product, food preparation and equipment used preferred.Working ConditionsWalking, standing, bending and stooping for 8-10 hours a dayPush, pull up to 50lbsMental and physical dexterityAbility to climb laddersIteration of dutiesAbility to taste, smell, feel and visually inspect foodUnassisted lifting up to 50lbs or moreWork in varying temperatures
