Compliance Analyst - Remote

We’re looking for an ambitious and proactive candidate to join our compliance team at River. Prior compliance experience isn’t required, what matters most is a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, growth, excellent communication skills, and an interest in working directly with clients. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, owning operational improvements, working cross-functionally, and has an interest in Bitcoin. River is growing quickly and has raised more than $50 million from leading investors, including Goldcrest, Kingsway, Polychain, M13, DG, and Valor. We have also released our

publicly, so all of our clients and employees can verify the robustness and growth of the business themselves. What you will be doing

Support the day-to-day operation of River’s compliance, fraud, sanctions, complaints, and dispute programs

Use data analysis to identify trends in client activity surfacing risk and operational gaps

Own operational improvements to River’s compliance tooling and workflows by identifying inefficiencies and supporting changes with a data driven approach

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve and automate compliance operations to facilitate River’s growth

Execute and enhance River’s compliance program policies, procedures, and controls

Partner with Client Services and Finance to support investigations and recommend appropriate risk based resolutions

Conduct compliance-related outreach to clients, balancing regulatory requirements with a high-quality customer experience

Support regulatory examinations, audits, and responses to legal and law enforcement inquiries

Report to River’s leadership on compliance program trends, progress, and developments

Salary and benefits

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 full-time
