Class A CDL Truck Driver – Houston, TX Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Houston, TX offering weekly pay, a guaranteed $1400 weekly payoff, hourly pay of $35.00, 42 hours per week, and paid training. Schedule is Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturday and typical start time at 3:30 AM. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs. Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Pass a Ryder Drug Test, a background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years), a DOT physical, and a Ryder road test. Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position (Class A). Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years. Must have forklift certification for unloading with forklift. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
