Specific needs:

Strong Guidewire ClaimCenter experience, including:

Common integrations

Multiple policy data sources other than PolicyCenter

How various lines of business uniquely engage with the system

Moderate data analysis experience

How to navigate/query the system for information between claims and policy source systems

Perform basic SQL queries

Perform complex Excel functions/queries

What is driving this need from a business perspective?

Increased demand for claims application maintenance and enhancement requests for Guidewire ClaimCenter, as well as our various program business partnerships.

Typical schedule: Some flexibility may be permitted, but typical office hours are Monday-Friday, 8a-5p CST.

May require flexibility to work with offshore resources. Overtime must be approved in advance. We expect to pay the standard hourly rate.

Location address: Prefer candidate to be in Sun Prairie, WI or NY, NY areas and come into office once a week, but also considering remote candidates from US.

Travel expectations: Low chance of travel to NYC or Sun Prairie, WI for project needs/meetings.

A typical day:

Eight hours of productive time with the occasional lengthy day during critical project phases

Daily stand/scrum/touchbase with on and off-shore team members

Online working meetings via video-conferencing tool with stakeholders and team

Face to face requirements elicitation/JAD sessions with a group to elicit requirements

Possible long portions of the day working independently on assigned tasks

Occasional days visiting the office (if the candidate is local)

Expected interview process:

1. 30 minute initial phone screening with Marshall Erb

2. If approved, a 90 minute written evaluation

3. If approved, a 30 minute panel interview with BA management team

Strong business analysis acumen and experience (5+ years)

Self-starter with the ability to work independently for results, as well as collaborate with a team

Proven ability to elicit requirements from senior level stakeholders both internal and external

Strong documentation skills

Strong command of written and spoken English

Strong influencing and leadership skills

Requirements gathering and documentation

Group facilitation and requirements elicitation

Process and procedure analysis and mapping

Implementation training and troubleshooting

Lead UAT efforts and defect management

Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel)

Professional communication/chat (Skype/Teams)

Agile experience, training and/or certification
