Commercial Project Manager

Project Manager – Commercial Tilt-Wall Construction A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team in Houston. This is an opportunity to lead large-scale tilt-wall and industrial projects from preconstruction through closeout while working with an experienced operations team and a strong backlog of negotiated work. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with clients and subcontractors, and has a proven track record delivering complex tilt-wall projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities Manage commercial tilt-wall construction projects from award through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts. Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and change management. Coordinate closely with Superintendents, Owners, Architects, and Engineers to ensure successful project execution. Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. Identify and resolve project risks before they impact schedule or budget. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Mentor Project Engineers and support the overall project team. Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing commercial tilt-wall construction projects is required. Demonstrated success delivering ground-up tilt-wall projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractor relationships. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or large commercial construction. Experience on projects exceeding $15 million. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
