Facilities & Maintenance Manager Full Time Indianapolis, IN, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1048 Salary Range: $72,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually Job Summary: The Facilities and MaintenanceManager is responsible for properly maintaining all facilities (interior and exterior) and all equipment within all buildings or grounds of Malibu Wellness, Inc. Work with property management with issues dealing with the structure or property within the lease agreement. Help to ensure the company is profitable through labor, parts, and project costs. Help to ensure that daily operations are completed safely. Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Ensures all employees are following and adhering to the GMP & Safety policies of the Company. Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy. Conducts training of new staff. Ensures that all direct reports have completed required ISO training. Supervise staff including managing time off requests, timecards and backing up duties of team members as necessary. Continually develop leadership skills for self & direct reports. Conducts meetings with employees as needed for any concerns or issues to be resolved. Leads personnel in their daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Conduct annual employee evaluations. Duties/Responsibilities: Ensure any down time with production equipment is minimalized including determining the proper amount of spare parts to have on hand. Communicate with employees regarding any down time or issues within their perspective areas. Address any facility issues as quickly as possible. Monitor camera system as needed (safety & security issues). Responsible for monitoring climate control in Packet Fill Room. Issue key fobs for all new employees and update master key fob spreadsheet as needed. Communicate safety issues and resolve as quickly as possible. Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner and filed appropriately. Help to complete all preventative maintenance of equipment or facilities repairs. Help to ensure all open projects are moving towards completion. Continually look for improvements that could lead to cost reductions. Communicate with vendors/contractors on purchases or projects as needed including but not limited to all capital expenditures. Initiate and/or update standard operating procedures in conjunction with other team members to assure that all current procedures of the Department are documented as fully as possible. Note any facilities issues and schedule repairs accordingly. Order replacement parts and supplies as needed. Communicate with personnel the daily schedule or changes. Assist with any production setup or calibration as needed. Help to ensure a safe work day for all personnel and staff. Complete the facilities checklist. Confirm all steps are completed on Start/End of Day Checklist. Participate in Maintenance Project Update meeting. Review and approve Forklift Preventative Maintenance. Verify all fire extinguishers and eye wash stations are in working order, undamaged and unused. Responsible for the financial budgets related to the Facilities & Maintenance Department. Verify all required pest control measures are completed by outside service provider. Perform and/or confirm all quarterly preventative maintenance processes took place and turn documentation into President/Chief Operations Officer. Participate in year-end review process with Supervisor. Participate in any year end maintenance/production schedules to help ensure timely completion. (PM’s, Projects, Inventories, Audits). Schedule and confirm scale certifications by outside service provider. Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management or business administration preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Substantial practical experience in various maintenance tasks like electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Ability to bend, stoop, walk, stand, lift, push and pull various items. Ability to move around the warehouse. Work is primarily performed inside the warehouse. Exposure to loud noise levels, vibration, chemicals, dust, mechanical hazards, and moving objects or other vehicles. May be exposed to cold and hot temperatures, inclement weather conditions.
