Systems Engineer 3

Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) located in Oklahoma City, is seeking Systems Engineers to ensure that systems verification testing meets the verification success criteria. It involves reviewing existing requirements, verification success criteria, and test directives. Ensuring that the test philosophy will meet the requirements and satisfy the customer. It involves writing a data analysis plan.
This position will be working in the Executive Transport group supporting one of the following platforms C32/C40, E-4, Head of State Aircraft for Japan, India, New Zealand and Poland.
Boeing OKC also supports the following platforms; Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) for US, Saudi and NATO, Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEWC) for Australia, Turkey, United Kingdom and Korea, B-1 Strike Bomber, B-2 Stealth Bomber, B-52 Heavy Bomber, and the ALCM weapon. These platforms continue to be updated to keep them relevant and supportive of emerging military systems. Upgrades include state-of-the-art radar systems, hypersonic weapons systems, and cutting-edge digital communication infrastructure.

Compensation: Up to $69.41/hr up based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include available request.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• Active Secret Clearance
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Experience in System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody)
• Experience in Requirements Management and tools (i.e. IBM DOORs)
Experience in verification & validation of requirements


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables
• Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership.
• Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, requirements development, specification development, system functions and SSOW development
• Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management
• Experience project engineering and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Experience in systems integration and test including lab integration, ground test, and flight test
• Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (including FAA, EASA, Military)
INCOSE Certification.
