Our programming includes intensive care management supports for families and adults, Crisis Stabilization programming, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) for individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness, Child First for young children and caregivers, integrated co-occurring Intensive Outpatient treatment, individual and family therapy, medication management (including MAT), peer support, supported employment/housing, and holistic recovery services for mental health and substance use disorders.

Position Summary:

The Child & Family Clinician at Paragon BHC provides comprehensive, compassionate, and flexible clinical services to children, adolescents, and families within a community-based behavioral health model. Services are often delivered in the homes of the families we serve.

This position is responsible for conducting psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, developing and updating individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to meet the unique needs and goals of each client and family. Clinicians provide individual, family, and group therapy while collaborating on a multidisciplinary care team to support families and children/youth in the community.  Clinicians coordinate with care managers to connect clients with essential community resources such as housing, childcare, food security, and employment supports.

Role Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and evaluations to develop treatment plans tailored to client and family goals.
  
• Deliver individual and family interventions to support healthy relationships and address the priorities identified by the family and child/youth, often in the homes of the families we serve.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and care managers to ensure basic needs such as food, housing, and child care are addressed, and facilitate educational/vocational training support.
  
• Recommend and facilitate interventions that support youth skill building and the development of parenting strategies matched to the needs of the child/youth.
  
• Demonstrate flexibility in therapeutic approaches, adapting techniques and interventions to meet the evolving needs of clients, recognizing that each individual’s journey is unique and dynamic.
  
• Maintain high standards of documentation, ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
  
• Show a passion for learning and building skills that enhance professional growth, strengthen clinical effectiveness, and contribute to the overall success of the care team.
  
• 16-20 direct service hours per week

Qualifications

• Education : Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field (required).
• Licensure : Within one month of employment must obtain a preliminary clinical license.
  • Provisional (LPCC, LSW, LMFTC, etc.)
  • Fully Licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) 
  • All licenses must stay up to date and valid during employment.
• Experience : Minimum 2 years in behavioral health/clinical service preferred.
• Language Skills : Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, depending on location.
• Other Requirements : Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, willingness to travel to homes/communities. 
  • Requires living in or near the location of the posting. 

Job Details

• Type : Full-Time
• Location : Broomfield, Colorado (Hybrid - clinicians travel to clients homes, schools and other community based settings)
• Department : In-Home Services
• Schedule : Flexible, with required availability for 2–3 evenings per week (4–7pm) or 3–4 weekend hours .
• Salary: 

• • $60,000 - $75,000 per year for provisionally licensed staff (LPCC, CSW. LSW, LMFTC)
  • $75,000-$85,000 per year for fully licensed staff (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
