Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

• Material Handling company is hiring an Assistant Project Manager who will support all phases of our busy business.
• The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with all daily tasks and duties. Some of these items are listed below.
• The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities include:

• Work directly with project manager to help implement specific project goals
• Assist with project estimates as well as business development with future clients
• Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing projects
• Process submittals, request for information, shop drawings, and closeout documents
• Liaise between our suppliers and fabricator to ensure production schedules are met
• Weekly coordination with our installation crews to ensure project success and safety

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone to join our team that possesses the following attributes:

• 2 years of Office Administration is preferred
• 1 year of Construction office experience is preferred
• Construction knowledge is a plus but is not required
• Strong problem solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Self-motivated, flexible and eager to learn
• Organized and can maintain organization when multi-tasking
• Comfortable within the Microsoft Office environment of Word and Excel
