Inpatient Pharmacist

Inpatient Pharmacist (Contract) | Seattle, WA

Well-respected hospital is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, energetic, and committed to supporting a positive, professional patient care environment.

Assignment Details:

• 16-week contract
• Variable schedule (24/7/365 operation)
• Primarily day and evening shifts
• Washington Pharmacist License required

Responsibilities:

• Inpatient order verification using Epic
• Final product verification
• Answering clinical questions and providing drug information
• Oversight of pharmacy technician functions
• Participation in Code Blue and emergency response activities
• Support of specialty/oncology infusion services
• After-hours outpatient dispensing support (limited formulary)

Qualifications:

• Active Washington Pharmacist License
• Direct inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with Epic and Pyxis preferred
• Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical pharmacy skills

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
