Inspector Packer I Night ShiftPR$17.75/hr.The Inspector Packer I manually inspects plastic parts for quality, packs them into shipping containers, and prepares finished products for shipment on the night shift. This role ensures that all products meet visual and quality standards, boxes are correctly labeled and sealed, and pallets are properly stacked for safe and efficient transport. The Inspector Packer I operates in a safe, orderly manner, may operate machines, and may assist in training other Inspector Packer I team members while maintaining a clean and organized work area.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process inspection of plastic parts by frequently examining visual attributes such as discoloration, shorts, burns, contamination, sinks, splay, and delamination.Identify and separate non-conforming products based on visual and quality criteria, ensuring only acceptable parts move forward in the process.Record data related to products and job performance as required, maintaining accurate and complete documentation.Transfer products from catch bins or boxes into shipping containers, ensuring proper handling and preventing damage.Transport finished products to the shipping area in an efficient and orderly manner.Weigh containers accurately and ensure that each container meets specified weight requirements.Complete and affix correct labels to containers using SAP, ensuring all shipping information is accurate and legible.Prepare and supply new or used boxes to molding presses to support continuous production.Stack finished product correctly and safely on pallets to maintain stability and prevent damage during storage and transport.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mebane, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.25 - $29.19/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
