Direct Support Professional – Pasadena, CA (EBSH Adult Residential Facility) Job Title: Direct Support Professional 1 or 2 Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $24.00/hr Shift: PM Job Status: Full-Time Location: Pasadena, CA Certification Required: DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates About the Company Redwood Family Care Network provides person‑centered home and community‑based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Roles & Responsibilities Assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily activities, including dietary, hygiene, grooming and dressing needs. Support behavior management using activities such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects. Prepare and clean up meals. Assist clients with bathroom needs and change clothing when necessary. Coordinate pick‑up and drop‑off in company vans. Develop and follow daily routines as written in Individual Program Plans. Essential Functions Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as documented. Assist with bathroom, dressing, and toileting needs. Prepare meals and facilitate clean‑up. Provide transportation to and from client homes or facilities when required. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED. CPR/First Aid and CPI certification. Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with developmental or mental health challenges. Valid in‑state driver’s license, over 21, and a driving record with no more than 2 points in the last 3 years. RBT certification to be completed within 6 months of hire (training provided). Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Should work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
