Position Summary As a Scrub Practitioner / Theatre Practitioner (ODP) / Surgical First Assistant at our hospital, you’ll be focused, detail‑oriented, empathetic with great communication skills. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post‑registration experience in Scrub and SFA roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. Experience in anaesthetics and recovery is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training if not already trained Qualifications Registered with the NMC or HCPC. Experience as a Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) and/or Surgical First Assistant. Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
