Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Eugene, Oregon. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:

• Provide inpatient Behavioral Health Consult & Liaison (C&L) services as an MD/DO
• Perform rounding and admissions for adult inpatient population
• See an average of 1520 patients per day depending on census
• Work 10-hour shifts from 7am5pm
• Cover 2 weeks per month, preferably as a 7-day stretch every other week (MondaySunday)
• Provide consultative psychiatric services within a 32-bed inpatient unit
• Demonstrate provision of inpatient or consultative services for at least 30 patients during the past 24 months, or completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship, or research within the past 12 months
• Provide case logs or quality profile from current privileging hospital(s) to demonstrate required clinical activity
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize Epic charting system for clinical documentation (preferred)
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions)
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation tasks on the first day of assignment
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Work collaboratively within a team setting (provider will not work solo)
