Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (Nurse Practitioner-Critical Care: Intensivist) Banner University Medicine seeks a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. The selected ACNP directly manages cardiac intensive care unit patients within a division that is committed to the growth and career development of their team. Responsibilities Manage evening care of cardiac ICU patients Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures Interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications Provide education, consultation, and research Minimum Requirements Current ACNP certification Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances Experience or new graduates with previous cardiology or critical care experience are encouraged to apply Work Schedule Full time 3‑12 hour shifts per week Night, swing, and weekend shifts required Location Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, 1111 East McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85006 Benefits You take care of others.
