About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Performance and Rentals Marketing to lead the strategic growth and diversification of audiences, maximize earned revenue, and enhance the institution's profile as a premier destination for music and dance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive ticket sales and attendance across a diverse portfolio of performances. This role involves setting and meeting ambitious revenue goals, overseeing integrated marketing campaigns, and managing the performance marketing budget. The AVP will also be instrumental in audience development, patron engagement, and the marketing of rental facilities for various events. A key focus will be on the upcoming expansion of the institution's campus, including the opening of new performance facilities, and the AVP will play a leadership role in the launch marketing strategies for this transformational milestone. Applicants for the AVP position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in performance marketing within a similar arts organization, with a proven track record of achieving significant ticket revenue goals. The role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in data analysis, digital marketing, and a strong knowledge of classical music, jazz, and dance. The ideal candidate will be adept at audience segmentation, dynamic pricing, and have experience with CRM databases and ticketing systems. Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. The AVP should be a passionate advocate for the arts, with a deep understanding of the value and impact of live performances, and be prepared to contribute to the institution's mission of artistic excellence and community engagement.
