LM337: Senior Logistics Officer

No [job.ref._no.] JOB DESCRIPTION (See link to the full job description in the blue box) * A Bachelor's level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and minimum 3 years' experience in military logistics, including financial/procurement aspects, in a sizeable civilian or military organization. Alternatively, the lack of a Bachelor's level qualification may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to the Agency, and include at least 10 years' extensive and progressive experience in above key domains. * Experience working in an international logistics-focused environment * Background in logistics requirements/concepts/processes with emphasis on international supply chain management with automation and integration, including budgetary aspects and legal aspects applying to cross-border operations. * Experience in the implementation, operation, maintenance and ideally migration of SAP based ERP and its specific logistic modules is mandatory. * Expert skills in data analysis, aggregation, transformation and visualization of numerous KPIs and other tracked parameters into meaningful and compelling statistics that enable strategic decision-making. * Experience in (initial) provisioning, stock management, repair and return, transportation, procurement and financial processes. * Experience in managing data confidentiality aspects and secure sharing/distribution methodologies. * NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable. Moreover, due to the broad interest in NSPA and the large number of potential candidates, telephone or email enquiries cannot be dealt with.
