We are seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join our Radiology team. The position involves performing general ultrasound examinations and superficial procedures. Experience with Doppler of abdominal vasculature is essential, especially for transplant patients. The role does not involve OB, vascular studies, or breast ultrasounds, as these are handled in their respective specialties. There are 7 rooms designated for ultrasound procedures, including paracentesis and thoracentesis. Candidates should possess skills in handling various ultrasound procedures such as general, abdomen, renal/pelvis, and small parts. Knowledge of Epic EHR system is preferred. Certificate requirements include BLS and RDMS competencies. Flexible scheduling on weekdays with no weekends or holidays is expected. Travelers will be required to float within service lines as necessary. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on patient care.
