Would creating a uniqueROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis individual will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes with other kitchen staff. They will perform routine kitchen tasks and prepare workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. This person will be quick, diligent, and willing to improve on the job. They will be able to follow instructions as well as health and safety rules in the kitchen.PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDEFollow the prep list created by the chefs to plan dutiesLabel and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessibleMeasure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cookingPrepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.Prepare simple dishes such as salads and entreesMaintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out garbage, etc.Ensure all food and other items are stored properlyComply with nutrition and sanitation guidelinesTangled Roots participates in E-Verify and will conduct employment eligibility verification checks on new hires after a job offer is accepted, in accordance with the Federal Law.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSProven experience as a prep cookKnowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchenAbility to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensilsTeam player with good communication skillsAbility to stay positive under pressureServSafe Certified within two weeks of employmentPREFERRED SKILLSCritical thinking skillsTeamwork and leadership qualitiesCommunication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Tangled Roots Brewing Co.
