Manufacturing Product & Packaging Group Lead - Day Shift

Description The Group Leader is responsible for leading the manufacturing process of batches and demonstrating the actual methods and procedures to produce the products using state‑of‑the‑art processing systems, including sophisticated recipe‑controlled human‑machine interface (HMI) control systems. Essential Functions Verify all product and packaging/manufacturing components before operations and entry into the packaging room; check product, ousters, and labels against specifications and confirm accurate data entry in logbooks. Initiate batch records according to the production schedule and verify staging status for each line; print and inspect shipper case labels for accuracy and submit all documentation to Quality Assurance timely. Adhere to the manufacturing schedule based on the shipping forecast; maintain proper status identification of manufacturing components and dispose of rejected material in accordance with established procedures. Verify equipment calibration status before use; perform equipment setup, operation, and cleaning in compliance with cGMP standards; complete all ROSS transactions and schedule personnel for efficient flow across manufacturing rooms. Follow Amneal Packaging CAPAs and SOPs; wear appropriate safety and protective gear and comply with the designated dress code. Maintain focus throughout the manufacturing/packaging process to prevent mix‑ups and cross‑contamination; keep all rooms clean, organized, and compliant at all times. Additional Requirements Day Shift – 12 hours per day, rotating schedule (6:00 am–6:30 pm) with 3 days on in week 1 and 4 days on in week 2 of the pay cycle (includes every other weekend). Qualifications Education High School or GED – Required Experience 3 years or more in manufacturing within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry Compensation and Benefits The hourly rate ranges from $26.00 to $32.00 per hour.
