Digital Marketing Manager

Position Summary: The Digital Marketing Manager provides overall support to the varied aspects of the Marketing and Public Relations Department including: creating and managing posts and engagement on all social media outlets, coordinating paid ads for digital campaigns, evaluate the effectiveness of social media and digital campaigns, measure web traffic, and assist with promotions and partnerships to advance the visibility of Naples Zoo with the goal of driving attendance and revenue. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create and manage posts and engagement on all social media outlets. Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics. Organize the e-communications schedule across departments; writes, edits and sends out e-newsletter and e-blasts. Provides general support to the Director of Marketing and PR, and other staff as assigned. Coordinate and update website changes. Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness. Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns. Help coordinate photo shoots and interviews, and complete other public relations tasks as assigned. Market research projects. Create engaging text, image and video content. Measure web traffic and monitor SEO. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or a related field. Bachelor’s degree Marketing and/or public relations experience working for a non-profit or cultural attraction. Experience with design programs such as InDesign is a plus. In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook ads. Proven work experience with social media. Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels. Ability to deliver creative content. Excellent written verbal and communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills working with the public, vendors, partners, sponsors and staff. Detail-oriented and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to respond to common inquiries, requests or complaints from guests and/or staff in a kind and courteous manner. Must be able to communicate with guests and staff clearly and effectively. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Proficiency and experience with e-communications and best practices. Proficiency in digital marketing channels preferred. Expertise in multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik-Tok, Snapchat). Strong commitment to the mission of Naples Zoo. Willingness to obtain TB test and pass comprehensive background check. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Valid Driver’s License Physical requirements: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
