Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurses are needed to support a specialized cardiovascular intensive care unit. This role involves caring for cardiac patients both pre- and post-operatively, with flexibility to accommodate surgical cases. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with an expected workload of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to float to related units including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatric (Peds), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Nursys license verification, Driver's license or state ID, professional profile on the organizations system, two professional references, one year of experience in ICU or cardiovascular care, and active certification in at least one of the following: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a cardiovascular intensive care setting, familiarity with postoperative cardiac patient care, and flexibility to float across related units Additional Information: The unit features a new, specialized 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit connected to a 14-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The team collaborates closely with surgical and intensivist teams to deliver optimal patient care. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to be on call are essential for this role.
