Security Flex Officer

Flex Security Officer - Part Time Primary Location: Nevada, MO Wage: $17.00 per hour Shifts: Must be able to work 40 hours per week for the first 30 days of training. After training, less than 32 hours per week. 0600 - 1400 1400 - 2200 2200 - 0600 The Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Responsibilities Conflict resolution and de‑escalation. Frequent interactions with client employees and guests. Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity. Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed. Front desk / access control duties such as creating badges for visitors and answering phones. Check in trucks. Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests. Utilize technology devices (Vision Phone) throughout shift. Conduct tours of the property. Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site. Requirements 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED required. Above average computer/technology skills needed. Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must have a professional demeanor. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Open availability preferred. Must be able to complete long‑distance walking patrols which include stairs (long distance patrols can be split up) and setting for long periods of time.
