CNA Supervisor

Full-Time | Long-Term Care Facility

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated CNA Supervisor to lead and support our Certified Nursing Assistant team in providing exceptional resident care. The CNA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily CNA operations, ensuring quality resident care, maintaining staffing accountability, and promoting a positive and professional work environment.

This position plays a key leadership role in supporting resident dignity, safety, and quality of life while ensuring compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the CNA workforce within the facility
• Coordinate and oversee direct resident care provided by CNAs
• Monitor documentation accuracy and completion
• Maintain CNA schedules, assignments, attendance records, and staffing coverage
• Train and orient new CNA hires
• Conduct employee competencies, evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Monitor restorative, hydration, and weight management programs for effectiveness
• Ensure equipment used by CNA staff is clean, safe, and functioning properly
• Assist with care planning and communicate resident condition changes to nursing staff
• Participate in QA meetings, care plan meetings, safety meetings, and in-service trainings
• Support emergency staffing needs and assist on the floor when necessary
• Promote resident rights, dignity, independence, and quality care standards
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CNA certification required
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays if needed.
