Overview Our clients, an executive couple with grown children, are building their dream retirement home, estimated to be completed in 2-3 years. Our mission is to find someone with experience as a House, Estate, or Property Manager who is based in Hawaii or would like to reside in Hawaii long term. The client has enjoyed long‑term employee partnerships with corporate and personal staff over many years. The ideal candidate brings Midwest sensibilities and work ethic, and has leadership roles in fine clubs, hotels, yachts, and houses. Associates would describe the person as kind, a “roll up your sleeves” person, and highly organized with hospitality expertise and strong project skills. Whether planning a trip, a move, a party, or remodeling a bathroom, the candidate is comfortable with the numbers and a straightforward budget/QuickBooks pro. Responsibilities The role includes managing daily operations, supervising teams and vendors, budgeting and resource planning, setting clear goals and procedures, and coordinating household activities such as travel, events, and maintenance. The manager will oversee the house’s maintenance, organization, and project execution, ensuring the retirement home is prepared for completion. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, vendors, and daily operations. Skilled in budgeting, resource planning, and setting clear goals and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication, with top‑notch organizational abilities. Proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), Apple products, and secure communication tools like Proton and Signal. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and safe driving habits. Physically capable of handling the varied demands of the role, including lifting up to 50lbs, walking and bending frequently, traveling on short notice, and using office equipment and technology. Compensation & Benefits The client offers a salary ranging from $200K to $250K depending on experience, full insurance, and relocation support for the right candidate, including short‑term housing.
