Food Service Worker, Full-time, Variable Shift Starts: 6am or 12:30pm

Under the direct supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor, the FSW I will perform duties related to patient food service, trayline, dish duties, and sanitation. In addition, the Food Service Worker I will be responsible for the following: Wash patient dishes, trays pots, and pans Mopping floors Distribute meal carts to nursing units for nursing staff to pass trays to patients Collect trays from units Restocking pantry, storeroom, freezer, and refrigerator Other duties as assigned Benefits: NEW 9 story Hospital scheduled for May 2027 – state of the art and double the size! Tuition Reimbursement: Repays up to $600 per calendar year for fees expended to attend a job-related seminar, licensure renewal (if mandated by job description), workshop, conference, individual course, or other training programs. Tuition Loan: Provides up to $2,000 per calendar year for approved formal certificate or degree programs including prerequisites for approved degree programs. Either 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Must be able to work alternating weekends.
