Full-Time/Night Shift The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist Journeyman is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/CLS JRN personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS accredited MLS program or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology or Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Medical Technologist 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a department in the laboratory or exceeds principal duties and functions in the MLS I job description Preferred Qualifications: 3 years clinical laboratory experience in a moderate and high complexity laboratory Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
