• Shift: Day shifts, 6:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 12.5 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270-$7,420
• Department Volume: Approximately 40-60 patient visits per 24 hours; approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Department Size: 13 beds
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• Team Structure: Physician coverage supported by two advanced practice clinicians during day-to-evening operations
• Support Services: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Hospital Medicine, Telestroke, Tele-ICU, on-site helicopter access, laboratory, radiology, anesthesia, and operating room support

• Physician with at least 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Board certification is required
• Active Wisconsin physician license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure
• Current ACLS and ATLS certifications
• Ability to evaluate and treat emergency and urgent care patients across a broad range of conditions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and consulting services

• Evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department and urgent care setting
• Manage approximately 20 patient encounters during a typical emergency medicine shift
• Perform emergency procedures and coordinate appropriate consultations, transfers, and admissions
• Collaborate with advanced practice clinicians and the broader care team to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
• Utilize available specialty consultation, telemedicine, laboratory, radiology, surgical, orthopedic, and critical care resources
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, procedures, and disposition decisions accurately and promptly
