This position provides opportunity for a diverse career path and longevity with an industry leading Telecommunications company.Essential ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently operating heavy equipmentProviding light maintenance and routine service to equipmentOperating equipment, hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds)Reading underground utility locates and ensuring safe digging practices are always being adhered toMaintaining a healthy and safe work environment for the crew, the public, the customer, and LedcorAssist with restoring job sites back to their original stateQualificationsCandidates must possess and maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license; those holding a valid CDL are eligible for additional pay in recognition of the enhanced skills and responsibilities associated with the licenseExperience operating a John Deere dozer, skid steer, mini excavator, and/or back hoe is an assetTwo years of experience in Heavy Equipment operationMust successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screeningsExperience with safely operating a variety of large and small power equipment, light vehicles and properly towing/backing-up trailersWork ConditionsAble to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)This position will require travel throughout the state of Montana as needed - per diem and travel accommodations will be provided when traveling overnight and out-of-marketLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
