As a member of the Federation of Catholic Charities, we serve the metropolitan and surrounding St. Louis area through four core programs: prevention, education, treatment, and housing. POSITION SUMMARY Catholic Charities of St. Louis, Queen of Peace Center,is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Director of Community Outreach to lead a diverse portfolio of housing, recovery, and community-based programs while serving as a key ambassador for our mission throughout the region. This senior leader will cultivate strategic partnerships, strengthen community relationships, identify innovative opportunities for growth, and inspire high-performing teams dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, and families. Starting salary is $90,000 Provide strategic and operational leadership for outreach, housing, patient engagement, and community-based behavioral health programs. Develop and implement program goals, performance measures, and growth strategies aligned with organizational priorities. Evaluate community needs, identify service gaps, and recommend new initiatives or program enhancements. Promote and support organizational vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives across all areas of responsibility. Develop, maintain, and strengthen collaborative relationships with community organizations, healthcare systems, referral sources, government agencies, funders, and other stakeholders. Represent the organization within coalitions, task forces, community meetings, and other external forums. Participate in outreach, marketing, business development, and community engagement activities to increase awareness of organizational services and expand referral opportunities. Oversee Recovery Housing, Maternal Housing, Shelter Plus Care, EPICC, and other assigned community-based programs. Ensure programs operate in compliance with federal, state, payer, contractual, accreditation, and organizational requirements. Monitor program outcomes, operational metrics, quality indicators, and client access measures to support continuous improvement. Ensure implementation of organizational outreach and engagement practices that promote high-quality, effective services. Provide leadership, coaching, supervision, and performance management for assigned supervisors and program leaders. Establish clear performance expectations and hold leaders accountable for achieving program, quality, operational, and financial objectives. Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development planning. Participate in recruitment, selection, corrective action, and employment separation processes. Monitor staffing levels and workforce utilization to ensure adequate program coverage while maintaining budget expectations. Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment. Develop, monitor, and manage program budgets and resource allocation. Review productivity, utilization, staffing, and financial performance metrics to support fiscal sustainability. Prepare reports, recommendations, and operational updates for senior leadership. Maintain an effective organizational structure and appropriately delegate responsibilities to achieve program objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in behavioral health, human services, healthcare administration, public administration, or related field. Licensed mental health professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) or equivalent leadership experience in behavioral health, community outreach, housing, or human services programs. Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience, including supervision of staff, program operations, and performance management. Experience with Missouri Department of Mental Health programs, housing services, grant-funded initiatives, and services supporting women and families preferred.
